the notwist are a relatively new discovery for me but they got me through my final uni exams and i am forever indebted to them for that. some of the tracks are unbelievably good, like pilot and good lies. these albums are so good that they make me nostalgic about the time i spent listening to them and revising in western bank library in sheffield (anyone who's been there surely knows just how grimey that building is!!!).

Victime...generic french house?

i found Victime by complete chance whilst searching for another band. they are entertaining and very very similar to the likes of justice and daft punk. definitely worth listening to if you're into that sort of thing. the only problem is that the song sounds like what a justice remix of around the world would sound like. slightly generic but still good...
